Yellow Devil owner Jessica ProkupWelcome to Yellow Devil Gear Exchange! My name is Jessica Prokup, and I opened this store in December 2010. My goal was to make good motorcycle gear affordable for everyone, and to create a fun and welcoming place to shop. I didn’t realize my life would turn into Pawn Stars, but to be honest, it’s been pretty great.

Street gear at Yellow Devil Gear ExchangeWe sell almost everything on consignment (learn more about how that works here). We have the country’s largest selection of pre-owned motorcycle apparel and accessories — street to dirt, modern to vintage. And most of it is barely used!Off road gear at Yellow Devil Gear Exchange

We also have casual wear, race team gear, artwork, books and collectibles. We’re still catching up on posting products in the web store…we actually have way more gear in the store than what’s online.Casual wear at Yellow Devil Gear Exchange

By the way, there is one item we only sell new: helmets. We’re currently a dealer for TORC Helmets, and we plan to bring in other brands soon.

In addition to having a diverse and high-quality selection of gear, we aim to offer the best customer service we possibly can — especially for new riders! We know getting into motorcycling can be overwhelming at times, and we’re happy to help make it easier. As for me, I’ve been in the motorcycle industry for more than a decade, as a writer, editor and communications expert, and I have a good knowledge of gear and bikes. If I can’t answer a question for you, I’ll find someone who can.

Yellow Devil storefront with bike rackOur storefront is based in Long Beach’s Belmont Heights neighborhood. We’re surrounded by vintage stores, cool coffeehouses and bars, good restaurants, interesting boutiques and for some reason a rash of ’50s-style barbershops. To top it off, we’re just blocks from the beach. Which is to say that we’re proud to be a part of this neighborhood. Even our name, “Yellow Devil,” is an homage to Long Beach (see ourĀ blog).

Thank you for visiting our website! Hope to see you in the store.
